Gator Board Presentation Boards
Our Gator Board Presentation Boards are printed in full color on durable 3/16" gator board material for exhibits, displays, retail signage, presentations, office signs, event graphics, informational signs, directional signs, trade show displays, interior signs, exterior display signage, and long-term business displays. Gator board is made from extruded polystyrene foam bonded between two layers of wood-fiber veneer, giving it a rigid, lightweight structure that is stronger and more durable than standard foamcore while still being easy to display.
Gator board is stronger and more durable than foamcore, but it should still be handled carefully to help protect the printed surface and edges. It is a good choice when you need a lightweight board with more rigidity and durability than standard foamcore.

Black Gator Board Mask File Requirement
Black gator board requires a white mask file, even if the artwork does not include white or opaque colors. For artwork without white or opaque elements, an empty mask file must still be submitted. If white ink, opaque areas, or full-color elements need to appear strongly on the black surface, the mask file should define where white ink should be applied.
White Gator Board Artwork Setup
White gator board does not require a mask file. Standard print-ready artwork can be submitted in CMYK color mode with high-resolution files whenever possible. Add 0.5" bleed per side and keep important text, logos, borders, and design elements at least 0.5" inside the final trim size.
Gator Board vs. Foamcore Presentation Boards
Gator board is a stronger, more durable alternative to foamcore presentation boards. Foamcore is a good lightweight option for short-term indoor displays, while gator board is a better choice when you want a more rigid and long-lasting display board.
